I loved the shade online; loved the clean classic look of a black and white shade. However, once it was hung , I disliked it. When the shade is pulled down, you can see large stitch marks between the folds that show light. Check out the picture. When the shade is pulled down in the daytime, it looks like zebra stripes caused by large stitching holes. If I hadn’t already drilled the holes, I would have returned it.

These are terrible! They are so crooked that the border stripes look awful. If you pull them with 1 hand, they fall all the way out and you have to work with them forever to get them to go back up. I’m returning them.

This shade is of good quality. It is also of a heavier canvas like material which is off-white in color. If you have one window that needs a shade, this might work well for you. It looks very nice when fully pulled up. Otherwise, when it's down, it looks a bit like a canvas painter's tarp. I bought eight for an area in my home and they did not work in the space. They were just too heavy and bland looking.

These are great black out shades

Goes well with modern and basic cabinets. Perfect match.
