As stated the rod is thinner than expected. Also as another mentioned the finials are too large. I am not sure what to do.

Great quality rod. Heavier rod but good for all uses. Modern style.

Finials do not fit. There is a slide rod inside the larger rod. The finial fits the larger rod but falls off the slide rod. There should be two different sized finials to fit each rod. Obviously, a QA error. You might have to glue it to stay on as it just is lopsided and falls off.
