This is a replacement for the one I had that pulled away from the wall. It is thicker and heavier than the one that came with curtain rod, and hopefully more substantial with the heavy drapes.

They brackets are just what I needed to put my curtain rods up with the projection 4-in from the wall so that the curtains will clear the vertical blinds that are already in place.
