This ad is a total scam or an outright lie. First of all, I have other linen pillows--rather, pillows that really are made of linen, not simply claiming to be--and there is no way that this pillow is anything other than 100% polyester. Then there's that alleged "5/95 down pillow insert". The likelihood that the insert has any down at all is about as great as my own body being made of down. Like the "linen" cover, it's nothing more than some type of polymer. Sure enough, when I unzipped the cover--the one true statement in the ad is that it does have a zipper--there's a big white tag that reads, "Made of NEW 100% polyester". Can I call it, or what?
I have to say, I was completely taken by surprise with this one. I can't think of any other purchase I've made from Wayfair that was so grossly misrepresented. As a matter of fact, I can't think of any purchase at all that I made with them that even slightly aggravated me, or wasn't resolved immediately by one of their wonderful customer service people. And that's over several years now! That alone tells me that Wayfair had no knowledge of the fact that this particular manufacturer lies outright about everything that this pillow is not.
On the positive side, the pattern on the pillow was exactly as pictured and is really a pretty design. The colors too are just like the photo. I'm going to use the cover but put it on a real down insert. For now I'm using it in my bedroom anyway. I just don't actually lay on it because I hate how it feels, it's so hard and the texture of the cover is so rough. Too bad, really.
So, if you decide to get it anyway, just don't say you weren't warned.
