This is a decent small stereo. Having downsized, I no longer have room for a full multi-component stereo system, and size-wise this unit fit the bill--and my available space. The sound quality is pretty good for such a small unit (2 channels, 25W per channel); obviously it's not going to put out like my old Technics receiver and Bose speakers. On the other hand, I'm no audiophile, and for listening to the radio and playing an occasional CD, it's fine. I think $200 is a bit much for what you get, but such are the times we live in.

1st day of use, just set it up. So far I am impressed with the features and sound. Easy set up and connection to my phone for bluetooth listening. Sound is clear on CD's and easy to preset my FM channels. Doesn't have AM radio. Remote did not have AAA batteries with it but it works from a good distance away. So far all is well. The VU meters are visibly working but really show when I am playing it loudly. Love the retro look. I remember equipment like this when I was young. Very simple to use and the directions are easy to follow. Has a clock in it to set also. Update: I am still enjoying my CD player. It does not have an on and off switch so the remote is very much needed with this unit.
