These boxes exceeded my expectations. The plum color is rich and sophisticated without being overly bright, and the woven fabric gives them a high-end look and texture. The sizes are very practical for storing everyday items while still looking decorative on open shelving, and they coordinate beautifully together. My only initial hesitation was the gold latch since most of my home has brushed nickel finishes, but once I saw the boxes in person, it didn't stand out nearly as much as I expected. It actually adds a nice touch of contrast. If you're looking for decorative storage that is both functional and beautiful, I would absolutely recommend these.
