I bought this bc you can toss the blanket in the washer, these are hard to find. It's super soft, almost chenille material. It gets hot, but not too hot to where you have to worry about getting baked while you sleep. I actually was coming back to order 2 more bc my daughter stole the one I bought myself and now my son wants one. LOVE these blankets!
