I have a hallway in my home, on one side a wall and on the other a guest bathroom situated between two guest bedrooms I wanted to strategically place a large mirror on the wall across from the guest bath. This would solve two issues. One being light or the issue of not having much light as in natural light so by placing a large mirror on that wall will help illuminate the area, but I also wanted a large mirror placed where all guests were able to view themselves whether they were staying an extended period or just stopping by for a drink. This mirror heavy and was shipped and packaged well. When I received the product I must say i wasn't happy with the initial finish, but once I had applied an antique finish to the veneer, I am really happy with my purchase. I feel now with the antiquing applied it this mirror looks more luxe and is extremely comparable to a similar mirror being sold by Anthropologie and I should now for I also own one of those. I totally encouraged you to purchase this mirror especially if you can get it on sale. And if you feel it is too gold in certain areas then antique it!! I used brown and black liquid shoe polish alternating between the two. I also used a metallic gold leaf paint on a rag and wiped over certain areas.

Item arrived broken which would be fine to replace except that the materials used are NOT WOOD! I would have never known except for seeing the inside of the section that broke off—frame material is clearly a plastic composite (it looks exactly like the glut stick you would buy for a glue gun). I spent $640 on plastic. Deceptive description reads “wood” throughout the title and description and is listed as wood in the materials. I contacted the manufacturer to ask them what material this specific mirror frame is made from—I was told it is made from MFD Wood Composite (which is not solid wood but at the very least still does not look like a glue stick) Very disappointed. I had to escalate my issue to management, of which I was told will take 72 hours and will be via email. I am hoping that Wayfair will replace the mirror and modify the price accordingly since a solid wood mirror would definitely cost more than one made from plastic. I will update this review upon their resolution.

The Snelling Wood Wall mirror is absolutely beautiful! The gold color is the perfect tone and the styling is exactly what I was looking for! This mirror has become very popular over the past few years, but some of the higher end retailers are selling items that look exactly like this one I love that this comes in multiple sizes with a beautiful gold finish that looks high-quality.
