Photo is not at all like the finish you get. My tray arrived solid black. It’s fine but I was hoping for the reddish/brown coloration shown in the photo. Note the black paint rubs off super easy so I recommend using a clear sealer over it too.

Not a high quality item, and had a defect by one handle where I will need to fill with wood filler and sand it to make it even. As others pointed out, it is a solid black color. But I bought it as an open box to repurpose for crafting, so it will get mosaic tiles and fresh paint. It's a basic wood tray, and the size is nice and generous. The workmanship isn't the best.

Tray was delivered quickly and packaged with bubble wrap. It is the size as stated however the one I received is not distressed. It is just plain black. I am keeping due to size and the area I wanted to place it it will be fine.
