Normally I find pumpkin candles too cloying, but WoodWick restrains the heavy caramel and "ooey gooey" vanilla notes that give me a headache. This is deeper and more naturally authentic to the aroma of baking pumpkin pie. It's toasty, complex, warm, sweet, and spicy. My husband also prefers the rich and complex scents over sweet bakery notes, and he gives this candle a lot of praise. I find this candle throws beautifully and the fragrance fills my main living room and flows well up the stairs.
