Bol décoratif en bois Arbaaz

It’s a wooden bowl. We use it to store keys. It works in that regard, but for the price I thought it would be bigger. It’s the size of a shallow soup bowl.

The description says it’s an antique bowl. In a pig’s eye it is. It looks shabby chic-ish, but the photo gives you the impression that it’s smoothed by being used for carrying grains. No way. This is extremely rough, crudely lathed and has some stain hastily smeared on it. The bottom isn’t even stained, showing that it clearly has not acquired a warm seasoned hue though years of use. It works for a display bowl, yes. But watch out for splinters, don’t get it moist or use it with food, and be careful of unintended dye transfer. Basically, it’s way over priced.
