Très grande sculpture d'échecs en marbre Dawn

This marble queen exceeded my expectations. It’s SO heavy and is a wonderful addition to my bookshelves. It was packaged well and can be used as a decor piece in many different interior design styles. I’m on the hunt for the matching king piece!

SO high quality! This is such a good statement piece for a coffee table, console, or bookshelf. It’s surprisingly heavy, which i guess is expected, since it's 100% real marble, so it looks and feels very expensive.

If you want to add a touch of elegance to your decor, you cant go wrong with white marble. This piece will add height to your vignette as well as a resting place for the eyes in an otherwise busy display. This marble is truly white. In fact I questioned whether it was actually alabaster. Just lift it to verify it is marble. The item details say it is 7 lbs., but I think it is closer to 10. In an emergency, it would be an excellent means of self-defense! But just holding this Queen will tell you all you need to know about its quality.

3.5 stars from me… a beautiful stone decorative object that is ruined by the pad stuck underneath it. I understand that by adding that foam pad at the bottom, it can be a protective dampener, but it’s it’s making it uneven and this thing is required to stand up in a stable way. Right now because of the foam backing on the bottom, it’s unable to stand without wobbling. I’m considering peeling the backing off completely but it’s going to be messy. It’s a shame.

I love this marble queen! It’s even prettier in person. The marble has beautiful natural detail, and it’s much heavier than I expected, which makes it feel really well made and high quality. I bought it as a decorative piece for my home, and I’m so happy I did. I love the color, the size, and the unique design. It looks elegant without being over the top. If you’re thinking about buying it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
