I am an experienced installer and have various types and brands of wallpaper throughout my home. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this paper!!
Using the calculator provided by Wayfair, I ordered 6 rolls of the White/Grey R2D2 pattern for a large wall of a stairwell that leads into our theater room. (smooth wall, no texture, washed down with a new dampened mop several days ago. Level used to create a straight guide line for first panel, which needed to be 10'10" long.)
I received my order very quickly.
I cut my first panel to 11' 2". I found it strange that the adhesive side seemed to have hardly no tack to it, not even sticking to my hand, but I proceeded with care. However, as I moved down the wall, it was almost impossible to get the previously smoothed paper above me to stay adhered to the wall, and the edges kept lifting. Once the first panel was finally installed, I held a second uncut roll up to the first panel to determine cut line, and saw that that the lines were not matching up. I also noticed several flaws in the grey lines where ink had not even been applied, or it was splotchy. I decided to cut my losses and go back to square one.
I initiated a return with a sweet customer service representative named Shayla. I provided pictures to prove the defects. As instructed, I checked each of the rolls, and all had hardly no tack at all. Unfortunately, I will only receive credit for 5 rolls, due to having already cut from the first roll. It will be thrown away.
