Well, I figured out what non-telescoping Rod meant when it arrived and I attempted to get the parcel through the door of our tiny old house, but we survived. Super easy to install (but my husband is handy, you have to be in a house like ours). I was hoping for more of a dark bronze metallic finish, but mostly black for sure. The knobs at the end are slightly metallic. Still look great in our quirky, vaguely hippie-sequel home.

It’s beautiful and the rod has some heaviness to it and thickness making it feel and look more expensive than it is. The detailing is also lovely!
