So i ordered this to give as a gift to my cousin at her bridal shower along with a platter. I was really excited about it, as she is a fan of rose gold and just loves ornamental plates. When I brought the package into the house my first thought was "wow, there's nothing in this box!" because it was so light. That isn't a bad thing, but when I opened the box and unwrapped the plate it was abundantly clear why the box was so light. It's basically a poorly painted tinfoil circle. It looks like if you were to apply even a minute amount of pressure on it at any particular point it would dent. So, quality of material = 2/10, but that's not even what really bothers me. The paint is so streaky and poorly done! There are literally parts where it's so sloppy they missed parts of the plate, and parts where they dribbled and there are raised marks. I even thought to myself, "well maybe it's supposed to be distressed?" But there is not a single person with eyeballs who would look at this plate and think, "it's distressed," because "distressed" doesn't mean gloppy, streaky paint! At least the colors were true to the pictured item, but I am overall incredibly disappointed with this item. I've uploaded a few pictures, so when you look close you'll be able to tell what I mean about paint quality.
