When it arrived I was so excited because this piece was meant to be the statement piece for my step son’s room. He’s coming to be with us for winter break and we just moved into a new home and I wanted to do something to make him feel special. I unrolled the decal and everything looked great. I read over the instructions, cleaned my wall, got my supplies while it dried (tape, Credit card) and started applying. While I slowly removed the backside of the decal, along came many parts of the decal. I literally screamed. Even while trying to remedy this, I continued to stick the rest of it to the wall in hopes that I will be able to apply the missing pieces carefully afterwards (because there wasn’t enough time to wait to for another one)… every single dot was coming up as I peeled… I had to hold each dot and each corner of the outline in order for it to stay on the wall. I even stopped midway through to reread the directions to make sure I was doing it right. There were no missed steps. It took me 30 minutes for this step alone (to peel the sticker off). This made me feel as if this is nothing more than a regular sticker (like the ones children play with) there’s no clear background to keep the design together… this was just a horrible experience. Oh, and once I tried to reapply the torn stickers, it looked very tacky. I hope the seller can resolve this.
