LOVE this melting Dali clock!! It look amazing on any surface and the optical illusion is fantastic. Doesn’t come with batteries but only needs on AA battery. It’s pretty quiet for a quartz clock and keeps time as expected. Definitely an interesting piece for an office!

I like the clock and the idea but the outer part of the clock is plastic, not metal as I think they are implying in the description. The mechanism is probably metal but the clock facing/frame is plastic, in my case the gold and the face. The AA battery which is not included is exposed, no cover. It doesn't interfere with the hanging of the clock, but seems strange that it isn't covered. I still like the clock and from a distance it looks ok. I'm not disappointed because for the price I didn't expect anything but what it is, a plastic whimsical time piece. So far after 24 hours it is keeping perfect time!

Love it! And it fits perfectly on our bookshelf. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Great accent piece for a library or living room.
