I bought this for our laundry room. We decided to get rid of the hanging rack with canvas bins that took up the whole corner of the room. Replaced it with a counter unit (thanks again, Wayfair). This rack would give my spouse plenty of room to hang the clothes she just laundered. (Truth be told, I do laundry too, we just don't make a big deal of it). I am not a Mr Tooltime, but I can watch some YouTube videos and learn a lot about wall anchors, which I needed to buy to install this. My suggestion: install one end on a stud using 2.5" screws. Since the holes are 21" apart, you'll need to anchor the other end. Get some good ones (EZ Ancor), and you'll have a sturdy install. The quality seems good, however I also suggest filing down some rough metal burrs on the rack legs. I also taped them temporarily to avoid marring the walls during installation. I installed the two brackets first, then screwed on the cross and hanging bars. My spouse didn't even have to help me!
