This is a sturdy coat rack. I am actually going to convert a TV cabinet into a wardrobe to use in our 785 sq ft house. I plan to suspend this rack from the top to hang clothes on. Our house will have zero closets in the bedrooms.

This is a solid piece. However! The pilot holes they've pre-drilled for the screws are TOO SMALL (or else the screws are too wide). When I tried to insert the first screw, it was such a tight fit that I split the board. I had to glue and clamp the board back together, then enlarge all the pilot holes with an electric drill before fitting it together. It does look good, though, and is perfect for holding my toddler's clothes - I'm ordering a second one for my baby's stuff.

Perfect for our purpose, strong and sturdy.
