I fell in love with this over the door coat rack for the very reason some of the others took stars off. It has a very short drop from the top of the door to the hooks. I'm tall and I have a full length bathrobe that is always dragging on the floor. Bath sheets also! I keep my dog leash and harness behind the door to the bathroom also. I am pleased to say that All of the above mentioned hang a dignified distance from the floor. It is solid enough for wet bath sheets and winter coats, not to mention book filled backpacks! I'm so in love with this Yamazaki coat rack I bought a second one immediately for the bedroom door so I can hang belts and purses on!
