Before ever using, straight out of the original packaging: First, there are ornaments that have spots of the paint or plastic missing. I just have to hang them in a way that the black spot is facing towards the tree. Lastly, a few had to have tops glued on. The ornaments were coming out of the top because the clips came broken. This was not a huge deal to me. Some of these were used for a home-made wreath. I live at an apartment complex. To prevent neighbors from messing with my wreath, the ornaments and stuff were hot glued to my wreath.

Cats can't break these.

I ordered two different colors. I wanted red but it was out of stock I ended up getting silver and gold instead. We have two pets a puppy and a kitten. The ornaments have not broken yet.

I have plenty of Nephews and pets that love to knock off the ornaments from my Christmas Tree whether it's accidentally or more likely on purpose. These shatter proof balls are ideal for my particular situation! No more shattered glass shards to pick up!!!
