The tree stand is plastic and it was split on arrival.

We ordered two trees to stand on either end of a large table in our living room so we needed a more narrow shape They are very pretty - the light frosting softens the green color and the branches are more realistic looking then the hard plastic brances some artificial trees have. The shedding during set up was very minimal.

These were super cute in front of my home. Lights and decorations are already on the tree, so all they need is bit of fluffing and they are ready to go. Also they withstood the wind and did not fall over. I added a few gold ornaments to tie into my other decorations.

I'm most excited about these they are beautiful

Looked great at front door and easy to store
