This item in the gold is very yellow; had to return so did not use. It looked like it would be good otherwise, but if you are going for a more subtle gold look, I would try another fixture.

This light fixture was perfect for our home office, it had clean modern lines and casts just the right amount of light. Great value for the price but looks higher end!
