These are very well made and the black is a true black. Very beautiful. However, as one reviewer stated, the interior lining is not a true gold as pictured, but more a mustard yellow type golden color. Not a deal breaker for us. They look terrific on our chandelier.

great looking shades but we had to return them because they weren't large enough

The black color is vivid but the inside that is classified as gold is actually more of a golden mustard yellow. I have to return for that reason.
