We've had this lamp for a little less than two years. Last night, the arm of the lamp broke without being touched (almost as if the lamp head was too heavy to hold it up). I'm very disappointed that this break happened in such a short amount of time for the price of the lamp. It feels like this piece should be metal but it appears to be plastic on the inside. The lightbulb inside is a regular weight and not too heavy.
