This light pendant is great, the combination of materials and textures is very nice. The shape works well in my MCM dining area. It loses one star because the bare bulb is very visible and sitting underneath a bare bulb is not optimal. I would recommend the manufacturer re-design it with some type of filter cover below the bulb to diffuse the light. I rigged something up with parchment paper, but it's not ideal and sometimes it does not stay in place
