Prefer a bit of warmth in a LED. This is a bright grey and illuminates the space, motion activated.

Well I put it over about 2 feet from a black mantle and it remains on . Moved to open wall in dining room works great , not what I wanted it for so ......

These are great. A not too bright light shines in any darker area until motion is detected, and then it brightens to allow someone to walk through with confidence or see what is happening in that spot. Would recommend for hallways, bathrooms, etc.
