The horizontal clamp that holds the torch light pole in place is too short. Screwing it fully into the clamp body does not extend far enough to secure the torch light pole. It comes up short (see photo). The torch pole is a typical diameter for many deck porches. Since I require these torches now, to save on the hassle of return, I will replace the screw clamp with a longer one to solve this problem that should not occur if the designers were paying attention to the products that they are attempting to secure. this has been my experience with many Chinese products. It is too often hit or miss. I’d gladly pay more for quality out of the box.
