I’ve tried other ways of anchoring outdoor string light and this is by far the best looking. They recommend stringing lighter weight string lights which does help a lot. I started with heavier lights and the poles would be at a slight angle. I filed the base with water. I live in an area that can get very windy and these are stable even during high winds.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this product or Wayfair, which is a shame as I have ordered from Wayfair before. We ordered 2 poles, and one of the poles came missing the piece at the top that screws into the pole. We waited until we had good weather (Plus we had a vacation) to open the boxes to put these together which was over the 30 day window. We were missing a key piece to these poles. I reached out to customer service and they would not even look at it to help me because it was over 30 days. It was one simple piece and these poles were not cheap and they were very inconsiderate and not helpful at all. DO NOT order from this company. And, I cannot recommend this product as it came missing a piece. I have so many other options when shopping and will not order from Wayfair again.
