Beautiful lamp. I put it together myself which was a process but I was absolutely trilled to have finished it. I didn't see that they would put it together for you for a fee, which would be worth it.

It’s crooked when put together, I’m not sure how to make it stand up straight properly

The shade is 20" wide, base looks tiny in comparison - it would look much better (and would be more sturdy) if the base was wider and heavier. The pole should be wider as well. Difficult to put together because the threads weren't even. This is a $300+ lamp, I expected far better. I am very disappointed. I would send it back but am physically unable to repackage the lamp. I'm going to use the shade as a planter
