This lamp is not 100 watts, it is 60 watts. After unpacking and assembling the lamp, I noticed the factory sticker near the socket which advised that anything over 60 watts would increase risk of fire hazard. So I painstakingly repackaged the heavy lamp, with styrofoam particles flying all over the house for the second time, then asked Wayfair to send me prepaid shipping label, since the item was not as advertised. Do you think they provided it? Of course not! I was asked to unpack the lamp, submit photos and provide proof that the lamp was 60 watts, after I had already reboxed the entire heavy and unwieldly thing. Most online vendors will provide a prepaid return shipping label if the item arrives damaged or not as advertised, but not Wayfair. Instead, as long term customer of many years, you're told that you are wrong, those lamps are 100 watts! It says so on their website! And of course, Wayfair cannot possibly be in the wrong. You'll have to provide evidence to the contrary. Your claim as a long time customer simply isn't good enough. Also difficult when the item arrives with zero paperwork...no invoice, no shipping receipt, no instructions, nothing...and they are asking you to provide what they never included. You've lost a customer over this treatment, Wayfair. And I hope others will heed the warning as well, about how they can expect to be treated when they receive merchandise that was not as advertised.
