This charming little shade comes with a big punch of personality. Each side shows a cozy little scene in watercolors of the 4 seasons. There is also a sweet little comforting sentence of each season. I love the soft mint piping rounding the top and bottom. It is definitely sturdy and will not crush or cave in if it is knocked over accidentally. This is the type of shade that sits on top of the bulb. It is not big at all and with that I have had quite the time to locate a lamp small enough for it to sit upon, because of that I give it 4 stars.

This lampshade is not a spider style. It's a clip on. I can't use it.
