Beautiful and seems well-made, with tightly-woven ropes. The color is perhaps slightly more gold than the natural I expected from the photos, but it’s a warm gold and I like it very much. We haven’t installed it yet because it requires a single pole switch (we have a dimmer), but will soon. I appreciate that it includes a wall mount for the remote. Also arrived very well-packaged. Box was damaged in transit but no issues at all inside!

The hidden ceiling fan feature in this light fixture is really cool. It looks beautiful and provides a decent amount of air circulation for being a low profile fixture. The fan part is clear plastic and is fairly easy to just remove from the unit when you need to clean it or replace light bulbs. The plastic “nut” end piece has opposite threading from what you’d expect- “lefty-tighty”. I was afraid lights wouldn’t fit properly in this at first but the curved arms inside the fixture are adjustable up or down. I used 40 watt equivalent (3w) soft white LED chandelier light bulbs. I used a clear bulb rather than frosted white in a similar fixture and I think the clear bulbs look better. The frosted bulbs are pictured and they are quite obvious through the rattan shade. I may get one of these for every bedroom!

It's a good light for the price, and I think it fits the room well. My favorite thing about the light is the way it manages to look high end while still providing users with a functional fan. There are a few drawbacks worth highlighting though. First, my unit seems to have been subject to a lack of quality control, as the acrylic fan wobbles slightly when running. I have another unit from the same brand that doesn't have this issue. It's uncertain whether this will affect the fan's longevity. Second, I feel that the black and white wires are slightly too short: you'll need a tall platform on which to rest the light as you connect it to the ceiling. Third (and this is not necessarily a drawback; just a limitation), the fan has a relatively focused flow, so you'll want to make sure you place this fan directly over the bed or seating area you wish to cool. I'd estimate the flow to occupy about a 30° cone under the fan. Altogether though, despite just a few small frustrations, I think this is a really great light that looks nice and eliminates the need for a conventional ceiling fan. It's extremely quiet and the remote works flawlessly. This will make a lot of design-focused homeowners happy.
