The brushed satin nickel finish was perfect. We got the clear glass shades. Love the shape. Gives the room a modern farmhouse feel. Even went with brighter bulbs plus a dimmer for versatility. We have 8 foot ceilings and the height still looks good hung short. The bottom of the shades is 25.25 inches from the ceiling. I love everything about this fixture.
