I was very concerned that this would be "too much" for a dining area but it's perfect. It doesn't overwhelm the space but provides much needed light in that area.

We swapped this out to replace a light that was hard to change the bulbs on and a dark bronze color. This is very light looking and gives a great deal of light and has really brightened our dining area. The bulbs are easy to change and it has dimmable capabilities. I would buy it again if needed.
