Installation is easy and it has had a solid connection to the fan. However, the blue backlight is so bright it can be distracting to sleep, and when a room was converted to a nursery I had to remove it because it's so distracting bright and harmed sleep quality. From a design perspective, while I get why a fan company would put the fan control above the light control - in practical usage, it would be much more preferable to have the light control be the higher, more accessible button. While I initially liked it, after extended usage, it has been relegated to the junk been in the garage so it's hard to recommend it.

This wall controller is terrible! I wish they had an old fashion wall switch that actually works. The signal drops every time I attempt to use it. But the fan and light are great! I just can’t turn it on and off??

Excellent product, no unusual actions need be taken.
