This is a great little bedside lamp or table lamp for a space-constrained surface. It puts off enough light for bedside reading, but I would not consider it sufficient for supplemental ambient room lighting. I was hoping it would also provide enough light to add nice ambient light to my bedroom, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. The olive color is exactly as pictured. The shade is sturdy and a nice cream color. The switch is on the lamp cord which is convenient (no having to reach under the lamp shade to turn it on and off). Overall it's a great product, but maybe priced a little high for what it is.

Awesome quality!! Super solid little lamp. Got the green color and it is a perfect shade of olive. The shade is cream colored.
