Did I get a bad sample? The bulb cup does not fit flat against the flare of the lamp head. My light bulb does not screw smoothly into the socket. And the rotary switch binds hard against the top of the lamp head. (Fortunately, the switch's knob can be removed with a tiny Allen wrench, and I did that to raise up the knob. Now it no longer binds.) Overall, I'd say this lamp, while it does work well, the lamp head is made poorly. Design-wise, however, it's just what I needed, the head being fully adjustable, including its height.

Great look. I wish the knob for turning it on were better designed, though. Why a cap you have to remove?

Works nicely on the desk. Cord is very twisty and very long. Had to work with it a bit to make it look like the photo.

Very nice quality, has a good weight to it, love the gold!

Beautiful quality, looks so mid century. Great price point.
