The finish is a brushed, light version This is extremely well done and the sale price is laughable for the quality. Note that the two bulbs do not operate independently, they work together and have two settings, low and high.

Perfect! Love the 3 way lighting. Allows bright for dressing and lower for ambiance. Torchbearer base is solid and well constructed. Very happy with this lamp

DO NOT BUY THIS. The base does not stay secure and the bolt will eventually strip out when you try to tighten it. I moved the lamp by the base, as it is heavy and I did not want to pull the neck off of the base. It did not matter. Total junk for the price. I would not pay 12 the price for this. Waste of money. Buyer beware.

I love this torchiere. It looks and feels very sturdy and well built, gives enough light for my big room. Super easy to assemble and the packaging it comes in is very well designed and thought through so one must try really hard to damage this lamp while delivering.
