It's a lamp and it works. Unfortunately, it is way overpriced for its quality as it is incredibly basic quality and the shade does not match the color in the picture, although generally, products on Wayfair do match well for me. It's white, not light blue-gray, which was a main selling point. The pattern also has inconsistencies. The shade, overall, feels of poor quality, even compared to the base. It is also very unstable. Because its highly visible, weirdly colored cord (possibly intended for beige carpet), also ruins any corner its put in unless hidden by another piece of furniture, which is not my intended use. The packaging was incredibly wasteful. For people who live in areas where recycling is limited, it might take two weeks to get rid of the boxes and various other pieces, not to mention the time it takes to break all of it down as required. Not to mention the plastic that can't be recycled here.

So pretty, and easy to put together. Love how the wire is hidden inside the pole.
