This stained glass lamp has the option to light either side, both sides at once, the base alone as a night light or all three light bulbs at once. I really appreciate the night light base of the lamp as a subtle light to have on at night. When the lamp is off the colors are are not as vibrant and lean toward a brown tone. When the lamp is on the colors are a golden hue which is very nice. I would prefer it if the brown base and decorative feature were black. The tone of brown leans a little toward a milk chocolate color and looks a little inexpensive. I do like the variety of choices in lighting the lamp offers. I recommend this lamp if the color scheme fits your decor. The base light bulb is included. The light bulbs needed for the top of the lamp are not included.
