The lamp is beautiful, but it came damaged and as of January 2024 the website description lists the incorrect bulb for the lamp.
The website lists a standard E 26 bulb for the lamp. I purchased this lamp, intending to use an existing standard size smart bulb, so that I could pair it with my Google Home and adjust the color and brightness of the light. When the lamp arrived. I noticed a standard bulb would not fit appropriately. The instructions and tag both state to use the appropriate bulb with the lamp, but did not list what type bulb to use. I finally found the correct bulb type (a T20 tube light) listed on the sticker of the lamp socket.
My glass shade also came with a chip in it. I can position that part against the wall to hide it, but I don’t feel I should be paying full price for a damaged item.
Customer service offered me a small discount that will cover the price of the correct bulb and a smart plug so that I can pair it with my Google Home but considering all the time it took me to find the correct bulb type, contact customer service and upload multiple photos multiple times to prove that the description they listed does not match the product that they are selling, as well as the fact that the lamp arrived damaged, I do not think this is an appropriate solution. I was first offered to repackage the lamp and ship it back for a refund, but I do like the lamp and don’t want to have to try to repack it and ship it back when it was their error.
