The light itself works fine. I will be adding a dimmer as it is quite bright to start off but that's okay. Downside is the mounting. The box that holds the components and glass bar is needlessly small by about a 1/4". This squeeze in the box makes it a nuisance when I'm trying get the four little little screws into the base plate while holding the heavy glass bar box and pushing hard to keep the interior cables compressed. The screws that hold the light box to the base plate might be better with a larger thread so they're easier to engage. My comments here are just those of the average DIY person.
