Beautiful lamp design, however, this type of light doesn't provide needed direct light in a bathroom setting ~ it is too diffused for practical use. We had to add additional light to the bathroom to be able to see. I would recommend this light for accent purposes only, not as your primary light above a medicine cabinet or vanity.
