These lights work great for our pool deck area... They're water proof and the cover seems fairly well protected from accidental hits by beach balls, etc. However I still may buy an extra one in case the glass breaks someday. Screws do make changing lights a little time consuming and I've already lost a couple. However, so far we like them.

I am very pleased with these lights. They flank the garage door and add a simple, modern accent to our mid century style house.
