The box had been opened and re-sealed, though everything inside was packed properly. The "Socket Ring" that holds the shade on the fixture was jammed onto the socket. I had to completely disassemble the fixture and remove the socket so I could get channel-locks on the ring and wrestle it loose. After putting everything back together, the socket ring holds the shade on very nicely. The light was easy to put up, and looks very nice, though the shade is a bit lower than I wanted.

I love this outdoor entry light!.Looks great otothe back entrance door. Love the look of the shade,simple clean design. Great quality light weight easy to install quick shipping! I would recommend to all!
