It's a shame that the proper wiring connectors are not included. The cost would have been only a few dollars more. Note I said proper wiring connectors, there are 4 twist wire nut connectors included but with 8 lanterns each with 2 wires and then 2 power supply wires that's a total of 18 wires. No way 4 wire nuts are adequate for that. I took several links (6) out of the 8 chains to raise the fixture up higher. The stain was a bit too reddish for me so I re-stained the wheel with a spray American Walnut stain . I then filled in the faked distressed areas with a almost Black Kona stain to give them more contrast, and sprayed polyurethane over all. There are 4 joints around the wheel and I added two black metal buttons to each to make it look like hardware reinforcement. Additionally I added some round distressed wood to the center with black stain (simulating years of hub grease exposure) to give the hub more of a wagon wheel look. None will mistake it for a real wagon wheel, but the fakeness looks more complete in my opinion. I also converted mine to a simple one chain hang as I did not have an electrical box where I wanted to hang it. For my application and with my modifications I have to give it 4 stars, as it comes out of the box only 2 stars. It was very well packed, and it would have been difficult for the delivery people to damage it if they sorta tried. My overall view is favorable if one wants to add some work to it. However if you want something perfect to hang right out of the box, it would be best to spend more money on a different light fixture.

Purchased for a hallway. This chandelier is beautiful! Easy to put together and easy to hang. Very elegant yet rustic. Has very realistic wood look to it, includes grains and all. However it is very heavy, need 2 people to hang. Everything included and easy to put together, only one person needed for assembly. Would purchase again

Beautiful lamp it was perfect.it was not to big not too Ansley it fits right in . I will recommend it to anyone. Am really happy with it.
