They are really nice, and made of quality material. They sit on a table really well, but they hang really nicely by themselves.

These attractive portable spot lamps are just what needed to brighten the reading areas in our little vacation cabin. They provide a lot of light but take up minimal space, as they mount so easily to the walls. That is: easily in principle. A problem (and the only reason for the "4" rather than "5" star rating) is that the head of the screw included is simply too big by a smidgen to fit into the hole at the back of the lamp housing! I discovered when first testing it in hand that the screw head just very barely slid in from a careful angle--but no amount of effort could get it thus situated once the screw was in the wall (the only way to mount it!) Luckily I had my own slightly smaller-headed screws that would fit the already drilled hole. But this is a factory design or packing flaw that should be corrected.
