Cute little sconces that were easy to install. I like that you can hardwire them or use the plug. You have to use the switch on the cord and the knob on the sconce to turn them on. Once you've flipped the cord switch, you can just leave it on and use the knob to turn the lights on or off. The instructions were very minimal and basically just said "attach it to the wall" without saying how to do that. If you've never done it before, you might not know which holes to use in the mounting plate. They come with hardware, including simple drywall anchors and cute little white gloves for handling. The glass is heavier than I expected and the mounting plate is kind of flimsy, so the sconces slightly tip away from the wall after putting the glass on. The screws in the drywall are very secure, it's the actual mounting plate that bends. I had to put a little shim on the bottom edge of each sconce to prevent them from tipping forward. I'm using amber candelabra bulbs to reduce blue light before bed, so a white bulb would be less orange with the amber glass.
