Overall, I'd say these are a 4 star. The construction seems to be sound. The black finish is overall painted well and I like the size and sturdiness of them. They are a sleek simple but elegant add to my landscape. I have been updating my lighting and I needed something simple that didn't take up too much room along my narrow path that I will also use to transfer my lawn mower as well as compost container when I am cleaning the yard from big pruning projects. My only comments are, the paint job of the brass accent is a bit hurried, but that's only looking up at them pretty close. If you're walking by them day or night, you won't notice any unsharp masking job in the painting. I typically like brown fixtures to match cleaner to the landscape but that's just a personal preference. All and all, they work well for me and I'd order another set.

These are heavy but steak seems heavy duty. In Florida due to sun, rain, humidity and hurricanes these would blow over very easily and rust. What I didn’t realize when I ordered them is they are NOT solar powered! You need to hook them up to landscaping lighting. My search was for solar powered not electrical so read items very carefully!

These modern lights provide soft ambient light and go well with our MCM house. I like how they shine downward and not up into the sky (which disturbs birds and other wildlife). Fortunately, my husband is savvy with electronics because I wouldnt have a clue how to wire everything. I actually misread the description and first thought these lights were solar, but he came to the rescue. He was able to tie these lights into an existing main power line attached to the house, but hooking them up was a little challenging. The hammer tab for driving the stake in the ground is soft metal and broke off even with a light tap. The instructions said to mount the light to the stake and drive both together in the ground. It doesnt make sense to hit the light itself, so he thought the tab was to tap the assembly into the ground could be just to show how deep the stake should go though. The wire that has the silicone seal was loose on all four lights out of the box. Once the bottom of the light screwed into the stake though, it appeared water and insect tight. The lights come with the male end already installed on the wires. However, the scotch locks provided to tap into our existing power wire are designed for a smaller wire than what we have. To fix this problem, my husband added a female end to tie into our power wire. If this process sounds as confusing to you as it does me, you may need to hire an electrician to hook up these lights. They look nice once installed though!

They look beautiful either night or daytime. I used 17 of these lights replacing the old ones we had in both front and back yards

These are really great quality low voltage lights. I’ve installed two at the step up to my front porch from my sidewalk and the other to from my stone walkway to my back patio. The metal is heavy and and the lamps look amazing.
